Misfit Daycare
At Bella & The Misfits, daycare is more than somewhere for your dog to spend the day; it’s a small-scale, home-based environment where play, enrichment, rest, and a little training all come together.
Whether you’re heading to work, running errands, having work done around the house, or want to give your dog a fun day out, Misfit Daycare provides individualized care without the overwhelming atmosphere of a large daycare environment. There’s plenty of time to play, sniff, explore, and have fun, but we also believe dogs need opportunities to slow down. We naturally weave in structured rest, appropriate social interaction, enrichment, and light training so your pup comes home fulfilled rather than completely overstimulated.

Small-Scale Daycare With Purpose
Misfit Daycare is designed to give dogs a fun, engaging day while maintaining the structure and individual attention that Bella & The Misfits is known for.
We intentionally keep our daycare numbers small, allowing us to provide more individualized supervision and adjust the day based on the dogs in our care. Instead of expecting every dog to thrive in one large group, activities and interactions can be tailored around personality, energy level, comfort, and compatibility.
Daycare is less training-focused than our Behaviour-Focused Boarding or Walk & Train services, but that doesn't mean training disappears.
Everyday opportunities are used to reinforce things like calm behaviour, appropriate play, impulse control, leash manners, engagement, boundaries, and settling. The difference is that daycare's main goal is to give your dog a safe, enriching, and genuinely enjoyable day, not to spend hours drilling training exercises.
Because sometimes dogs need to work on their manners...
And sometimes they need to sniff the yard, play with a buddy, and have a ridiculously good afternoon.
Just like our boarding program, Misfit Daycare is exclusively available to existing Bella & The Misfits clients who have completed at least one Private Training session or Walk & Train with us.
Knowing your dog before they spend the day in our home allows us to understand their personality, communication style, triggers, play style, training needs, and comfort around other dogs.
And no, your dog doesn't have to be a perfectly social butterfly to be considered.
Dogs are evaluated individually, and social interaction is based on comfort, behaviour and compatibility, rather than simply putting every dog together. Some dogs may enjoy appropriate play with compatible friends, while others may benefit more from individual activities, enrichment, outdoor time, and structured space. Our small-scale setup allows us to meet dogs where they're at while keeping everyone's safety and comfort the priority.
All daycare bookings are subject to approval, compatibility, and availability.

Every dog and every family's schedule is a little different, which is why we offer both half-day and full-day daycare options.

Half-Day Daycare is perfect for dogs who need a shorter visit, whether it's a few hours of play, enrichment, social opportunities, or simply a change of scenery while you're out running errands. With up to 4 hours of care, your dog can enjoy a fun, fulfilling visit without committing to a full day.

Full-Day Daycare is ideal for families who need care throughout the workday or have a busier schedule. With up to 10 hours of care, your dog has plenty of time to enjoy supervised activities, outdoor time, enrichment, individual attention, and structured rest throughout the day.

Whichever option you choose, your dog receives the same individualized attention, thoughtful supervision, and balance of activity and downtime that makes Misfit Daycare different.

Drop-off and pickup times are arranged in advance to help keep transitions calm and comfortable for everyone.

Half Day
Includes supervised care, play and enrichment, outdoor time, structured rest, light training, feeding when required, and medication administration.
Up To 4 hours: $35
Full Day
Everything that is included in Half-Day care, with additional activity, enrichment, individual attention, and rest periods throughout your dog's full day with us.
