Services

Every dog is different—and so is every path to healing.

That’s why we offer a variety of services tailored to meet the needs of misfit and misunderstood pups.

Whether you're looking to build confidence, ease reactivity, or just create a calmer home, we're here to guide you—gently and without judgment.

Training

Private Training Consultation

Before starting private lessons, every dog begins with a one-on-one consultation. This session allows us to fully understand your dog’s history, behavior, and current challenges so we can create a clear, structured training plan—no guessing, no going in blind. You’ll receive a hands-on introduction to our balanced training methods, guidance tailored to your dog’s needs, and unlimited support through phone and email. This is the foundation that sets you and your dog up for long-term success.

Private Training Session

Every private training lesson is unique because every dog is unique. We tailor each session to your dog’s current needs, goals, and emotional state. Owners learn the fundamentals of balanced training, canine communication, and how to confidently work through real-world behavior challenges. Because we specialize in rescues, reactive dogs, and “tricky” cases, no dog is too much. We can accommodate shorter or modified lessons when needed. Sessions are held wherever your dog learns best—at home, on walks, in parks, or in the environments where reactivity shows up most.

Group Training Lessons

Our group classes are small, supportive, and capped at five dogs to ensure quality coaching and a comfortable learning environment. Lessons run for 60 minutes and cover foundation skills, engagement, leash handling, neutrality around dogs/people, real-world manners, and confidence-building exercises. Monthly class dates are posted on our social media pages. These classes are ideal for owners looking to practice old skills and learn new skills in a controlled group setting with other pet parents who "get it".

Visits

Drop-In Visits

Drop-in visits offer flexible support for busy owners who need help during the day. These visits can happen daily or as needed. A typical drop-in includes bathroom breaks, mental enrichment, light play, training refreshers, and companionship. You may choose to exchange half of your visit time for a short walk—for example, a 60-minute drop-in can include a 30-minute walk. Because drop-ins are meant for care, not structured training, we do not work on major leash pulling or reactivity during these visits.

In-Home Pet Sitting

Your dog stays in the comfort of your home while receiving personalized care, routine, and structure. All sitting options include feeding, enrichment, play, training time, and plenty of one-on-one attention. Your dog also has the added benefit of joining our daily walking group or enjoying a solo trail walk. We keep your dog mentally and physically fulfilled with outings, fresh air, and quality training woven into the day.

Home & Small Pet Sitting

We proudly care for reptiles, exotics, and small critters—including snakes, geckos, spiders, and more. With extensive experience in veterinary settings and personal ownership of exotic animals, we provide safe, knowledgeable, and stress-free care for your unique pets. Home care is included as well—light tidying, watering plants, collecting mail, rotating lights, and overall house check-ins to keep things running smoothly while you’re away.

Walks

Enrichment Walks

Designed especially for high-drive breeds like Collies, GSPs, and other scent-driven or working dogs, our enrichment walks focus on exploration, sniffing, confidence, and natural fulfillment. These walks take place on trails and quiet nature routes, allowing dogs to de-stress and connect with their instincts. Reactive dogs are welcome but must complete a free meet-and-greet beforehand. Both small pack walks and solo enrichment walks are available depending on your dog’s comfort level.

Standard Walks

These walks are meant for dogs who already have training; whether your dog is trained by us or not, we keep up on the training. We understand how important it is to keep up on proper leash manners, and that's why, although these walks don't include full-on training, we still offer guidance and support for your dog during these walks.

Walk & Train Walks

Our Walk & Train program is designed specifically for our reactive, fearful, or highly excitable misfits who need more than a simple walk—they need structured training woven into real-world practice. Unlike standard dog walking services, these sessions are handled directly by our trainer and focus on building confidence, reducing reactivity, improving leash skills, and helping your dog feel safe and successful outdoors. Every Walk & Train begins at your dog’s pace. We can start inside your home, in the driveway, or out on the street, depending on what your dog is ready for. A free meet-and-greet helps us understand where to begin and ensures your dog feels comfortable before training starts.  Your dog receives one-on-one attention, personalized handling, and exposure to everyday triggers in a controlled and supportive way. As your dog progresses, they may “graduate” into our small walking groups—carefully selected and never more than a few dogs—to practice neutrality and calmness around others.

These walks are priced slightly higher than a typical dog walker, but with good reason:
your dog is not just being walked… they are being trained, coached, and guided through the world with intention.

Walk & Train is structured, purposeful, and tailored to the misfits who were never meant to fit into basic dog walking services.
